I build slash-command bots in discord.js v14 with TypeScript, deployed to a tightly-tuned Node process, persisted on Postgres (Redis for the hot paths), and monitored 24/7 with auto-restart on crash.

Why custom over MEE6 / Carl-bot?

Off-the-shelf bots are configurable, not customizable. If your workflow has unique steps (e.g. ticket needs to ping a Stripe API + assign a role), custom wins. If you can stretch MEE6 to fit, do that.

Is 24/7 hosting included?

First 3 months yes — runs on my VPS with PM2, auto-restart, Postgres backups nightly. Continued hosting is €60/month retainer; or I package the bot for your own VPS with a runbook.

Can it handle payments / role gating after purchase?

Yes. Stripe webhooks and PayPal IPN both go through the bot; on a successful payment the user is granted the configured role(s) and DMed a receipt with their purchase details.

Can you migrate from MEE6 / Carl-bot?

Yes — I replicate the existing rules and economy, then port over user data where the platforms allow it (xp, balances). Transitions usually take one weekend.
